These terms and conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) are an agreement between Healthcare Training, LLC (“Healthcare Training, LLC”, “us”, “we” or “our”) and you (“User”, “you” or “your”). This Agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the https://www.ivcompoundingtraining.com website and any of its training materials, products or services (collectively, “Website” or “Services”).

The company reserves the right to revise and update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. You will be notified of any changes by email or by posting the changes on the company's website. You are responsible for reviewing the most recent version of these terms and conditions before using the company's services.

Accounts and Membership

If you create an account on this Website or another website owned by Healthcare Training, LLC or a service providers website, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with it. Providing false contact information of any kind may result in the termination of your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security. We will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.

Skills Validation Evaluation

Enrolled students in the experiential virtual hybrid and in-person programs must have their experienced IV certified supervisor checkoff on the skills validation checklists for the final evaluation portion of the course for both the experiential virtual hybrid and in-person certification courses. Practice with the supplies must also be done at a sterile compounding facility. 

Confidentiality

  • Don’t share the passwords to the online course or the other pages on the website that require you to login.
  • Don't let anyone access the pages which are only meant for you to access since you paid for the course.
  • Access may be monitored.
  • Also don’t show or share the online course with anyone. All of the information on the website and course is proprietary.

As part of our academic integrity policy, we ask that you refrain from discussing the specific details of the program and the assessment process with individuals outside our organization including supervisors not directly responsible for supervising you and other third parties that we do business with.

While we have a business relationship with vendors etc. they are not part of our business and hence no information must be disclosed to them under any circumstances.

Course Expiration

All courses offered on this website EXCEPT for the certification courses expire 6 months from the date of enrollment. To extend a course beyond the 6 months the fee will be $49/month. The certification courses expire 12 months from the date of enrollment and to extend a course beyond the 12 months a fee will be charged at  $49/month. 

Shipping

Supplies - Sent directly by a third party vendor

Required supplies/materials for the program will be provided to students with possession and use transferring upon receipt. Any supplies purchased on a student's behalf from a designated third-party vendor by Healthcare Training LLC include estimated typical expenses within the overall program costs. Sales tax associated with supply purchases has been remitted by the designated vendor.

  •  If supplies are returned back to the vendor or Healthcare Training, LLC because they were unclaimed or the wrong address was entered on the registration form by the enrollee then a $15 charge will be assessed and the supplies will be resent after payment is received.
  • If extra supplies are requested for any reason a charge of $99 will be assessed by the vendor and the extra supplies will be sent after payment is received.
  • If the enrollee claims the address is correct but they still haven't received the supplies and the vendor or Healthcare Training, LLC can provide proof that the supplies were in fact delivered then the enrollee will be responsible for paying $99 in order to receive extra supplies.

Manual - Sent directly by a third party vendor

  •  If the manual is returned back to the third party vendor or Healthcare Training, LLC because it was unclaimed or the wrong address was entered on the registration form by the enrollee then a minimum $20 charge or what Healthcare Training, LLC is charged by the vendor to resend the manual will apply and the manual will be resent after payment is received by Healthcare Training, LLC.
  • If the enrollee claims the address is correct but they still haven't received the manual and Healthcare Training, LLC can provide proof that the manual was in fact delivered then the enrollee will be responsible for paying the full applicable cost of the manual.

Transferring Enrollment To Another Person

If an enrollee wishes to transfer their enrollment to another person a $99 transfer fee will apply and the enrollee will no longer be able to complete the course.

Billing and Payments

You shall pay all fees or charges to your account in accordance with the fees, charges, and billing terms in effect at the time a fee or charge is due and payable.

If, in our judgment, your purchase constitutes a high-risk transaction, we will require you to provide us with a copy of your valid government-issued photo identification, and possibly a copy of a recent bank statement for the credit or debit card used for the purchase.

We also reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order.

These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address.

In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. 

Please note that any additional services not mentioned specifically as included in the price of the course may incur additional fees and may be non-refundable in accordance with our refund policy as our time cannot be recovered

In-Person Evaluation Class

We reserve the right to change products and product pricing at any time. We also reserve the right to modify content, faculty, and activities. If there is a scheduling conflict with the instructor or if the instructor is unavailable for personal, business, or employment-related reasons or if minimum enrollment is not reached, we may cancel the in-person evaluation class and instead evaluate the student via video or the student can opt to join the next available in-person evaluation of skills class which may have a longer than expected time frame dependent on the instructors circumstance. No refund of any price difference between the in-person and virtual course costs will be issued if student decides to be evaluated virtually/over video instead of waiting for the next in-person evaluation class.

The total cost for the in-person sterile compounding evaluation is currently $799. Please check here for the updated price. This cost includes the mandatory manual purchase and training supplies that are sent directly to the enrollee by third party vendors. The manual and/or supplies may be entirely removed from the course at any time without notice or an extra charge for the manual and/or supplies may be applicable in the future. Video recordings if applicable sent by the participant of a participants demonstration of aseptic technique may be used for instructional purposes.

Experiential Virtual-Hybrid Program

The cost of the experiential virtual-hybrid program is currently $679. Please check here for the updated price. This cost includes the mandatory manual purchase and training supplies that are sent directly to the enrollee by third party vendors.  The manual and/or supplies may be entirely removed from the course at any time without notice or an extra charge for the manual and/or supplies may be applicable in the future. Video recordings if applicable sent by the participant of a participants demonstration of aseptic technique may be used for instructional purposes.

Price Changes

The prices of all courses offered on the website may increase without prior notice.

Course Expiration 

The ACPE accredited sterile compounding certification program MUST be completed within a year of the enrollment date. If the course is not completed within a year from the enrollment date then it will expire and the participant will have to re-enroll and pay the applicable price for the selected course or pay $49/month for each month beyond expiration.

By submitting your contact information, such as your name, email, mailing address, or phone number, through our website's registration form or chat feature, or contacting us directly via email, you consent to receive communications from us. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding our IV sterile compounding certification training and other informational products, there may be occasional typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions on our website, training materials, or third-party platforms. Such typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may relate to product descriptions, pricing, availability, promotions, and offers.

We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the Website and training materials or on any related Service is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). However, we are not obligated to update or clarify information except as required by law, and any specified update or refresh date should not be construed as a guarantee of complete modification or updating of all information.

We undertake no obligation to update, amend, or clarify information on the Website or training materials including, without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law.

Healthcare Training, LLC is not liable for any damage or loss including not receiving an official certificate for sterile compounding dependent upon third party accrediting organizations or caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with your enablement, access or use of any such other services or software, or your reliance on the privacy practices, data security processes or other policies of such other services.

Healthcare Training, LLC does not endorse, is not responsible for, and makes no representations as to any aspect of third-party services. This includes shipping and delivery, the content of the services, the services' obligations to you, the way the services handle data, and any interactions between you and the provider of the services.

You agree to waive any claims against Healthcare Training, LLC with respect to third-party services. Healthcare Training, LLC is not liable for any damage or loss that may occur as a result of using third-party services, including not receiving the manual and/or training supplies on time, not receiving an official certificate for sterile compounding that is dependent upon third party accrediting organizations. 

You may be required to register for or log into third-party services on their respective websites. By enabling any other services, you are expressly permitting Healthcare Training, LLC to disclose your data as necessary to facilitate the use or enablement of such other service.

Backups

We are not responsible for content residing on the Website or training materials hosted on another website owned by Healthcare Training, LLC or a service providers website. In no event shall we be held liable for any loss of any Content. It is your sole responsibility to maintain appropriate backup of your Content. Notwithstanding the foregoing, on some occasions and in certain circumstances, with absolutely no obligation, we may be able to restore some or all of your data that has been deleted as of a certain date and time when we may have backed up data for our own purposes. This Agreement does not transfer to you any intellectual property owned by Healthcare Training, LLC or third-parties, and all rights, titles, and interests in and to such property will remain (as between the parties) solely with Healthcare Training, LLC. All trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with our Website or Services, are trademarks or registered trademarks of Healthcare Training, LLC or Healthcare Training, LLC licensors. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with our Website or Services may be the trademarks of other third-parties. Your use of our Website and Services grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any Healthcare Training, LLC or third-party trademarks.

Disclaimer of warranty

You agree that your use of our Website and training materials or Services is solely at your own risk. You agree that such Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of Healthcare Training, LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, suppliers and licensors, relating to the services will be limited to an amount greater of one dollar or any amounts actually paid in cash by you to Healthcare Training, LLC for the prior one month period prior to the first event or occurrence giving rise to such liability. The limitations and exclusions also apply if this remedy does not fully compensate you for any losses or fails of its essential purpose.

COVID-19 Waiver

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Healthcare Training, LLC and its affiliates, directors, service providers, officers, employees, and agents harmless from and against any liabilities, losses, damages or costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, incurred in connection with or arising from any third-party allegations, claims, actions, disputes, shipping delays or demands asserted against any of them as a result of or relating to your Content, your use of the Website, training materials or Services or any willful misconduct on your part.

Severability

All rights and restrictions contained in this Agreement may be exercised and shall be applicable and binding only to the extent that they do not violate any applicable laws and are intended to be limited to the extent necessary so that they will not render this Agreement illegal, invalid or unenforceable. If any provision or portion of any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, it is the intention of the parties that the remaining provisions or portions thereof shall constitute their agreement with respect to the subject matter hereof, and all such remaining provisions or portions thereof shall remain in full force and effect.

Dispute Resolution

The formation, interpretation, and performance of this Agreement and any disputes arising out of it shall be governed by the substantive and procedural laws of Florida, United States without regard to its rules on conflicts or choice of law and, to the extent applicable, the laws of United States. The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for actions related to the subject matter hereof shall be the state and federal courts located in Orlando, Florida, United States, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. You hereby waive any right to a jury trial in any proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to this Agreement.

Assignment

You may not assign, resell, sub-license or otherwise transfer or delegate any of your rights or obligations here under, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent, which consent shall be at our own sole discretion and without obligation; any such assignment or transfer shall be null and void. We are free to assign any of its rights or obligations here under, in whole or in part, to any third-party as part of the sale of all or substantially all of its assets or stock or as part of a merger.

Changes and Amendments

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement or its policies relating to the Website, training or Services at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version of this Agreement on the Website. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the Website after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.

Acceptance of these terms

You acknowledge that you have read this Agreement and agree to all its terms and conditions. By using the Website or its Services you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorized to use or access the Website and its Services.

Issuance of CE Credits

Healthcare Training, LLC may not directly issue CE credits for their IV certification programs. Instead, they may rely on third-party ACPE Accredited organizations to do so.

The self-paced updated online sterile compounding course by itself currently does not provide certification but a certificate of completion may be requested and pharmacy technicians are able to claim 20 CE credits after successfully completing the program and passing a competency exam with a score of 75% or better. The pharmacy tech must manually enter the CE credit information in their PTCB account. See FAQ.

Certificate of Completion

  • In-Person & Virtual-Hybrid Course
    • A certificate of completion may be issued by Healthcare Training, LLC upon request and after completion of the in-person and experiential virtual-hybrid course if requested and after successfully completing all of the hands-on process validations that constitute the final evaluation and after completing the practice labs and emailing the required documentation for the practice labs to mayur @ ivcompoundingtraining.com.
    • The certificate is separate from the official certificate you receive from the third party ACPE Accredited organization or partner.
    • To request a certificate of completion, please contact Healthcare Training, LLC at mayur @ ivcompoundingtraining.com
  • Standalone Updated Sterile Compounding Course
    • A certificate of completion will be issued upon request and after completing the course and passing a final certification exam with a score of 75% or better.
    • To request a certificate of completion, please contact Healthcare Training, LLC at mayur @ ivcompoundingtraining.com 
    • This course if bought standalone DOES NOT provide ACPE certification BUT does provide a certificate of completion AND pharmacy technicians are able to claim 20 CE credits. Technicians will have to manually enter the required information in their PTCB account to claim credit. 

Termination of Access To The Online Learning Portal

If you violate our academic integrity policy or share access with someone that has NOT paid for the course or we discover that several different IP addresses are accessing the learning portal under a single login that was issued to you for your personal use only, then we reserve the right to terminate your access without obligation to issue any refund(s) to you.

Shipping Delays

There may be times when shipping supplies to you may be delayed by up to 3 weeks or sometimes longer. This could be due to circumstances beyond our control, such as a shortage of supplies or a backorder or vendor issues. If this happens, it may delay your progress in becoming certified within a certain timeframe. Healthcare Training, LLC is not responsible for these delays and is not liable to you for any damages, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising out of or in connection with the delay.

Proof of Delivery

By participating in the sterile compounding certification program or utilizing the pharmacy compliance and pharmacy operations consulting services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Healthcare Training, LLC will provide proof of delivery obtained from the third party vednors for all training supplies and the manual upon request. If you state that you have not received the training supplies or manual, but Healthcare Training, LLC has proof of delivery, you will be responsible for paying the full cost of the training supplies and manual again.

Reasons for Non-Receipt

There are a few reasons why you may not receive your training supplies or manual from the third party vendors that send them on our behalf:

  • The address you provided may be incorrect.
  • The package may have been lost or stolen.
  • You may have refused delivery.

If you have not received your training supplies or manual, please contact Healthcare Training, LLC immediately. We will investigate the matter and take appropriate action.

Payment

If you are responsible for paying for the training supplies or manual again, you will be billed in full. The payment must be received within 30 days of the invoice date. If payment is not received within 30 days, Healthcare Training, LLC may take further action, including but not limited to, collection.

Placement Assistance

Healthcare Training LLC hereby states that while we strive to provide comprehensive training and assistance to our students, we cannot guarantee employment or job placement outcomes. Our recommendation of students to our partner for placement assistance does not guarantee their successful job placement. We provide this recommendation in good faith, based on our assessment of the student's skills and qualifications. However, the final decision and success of the job placement process rest with the employer and the student's own efforts. Healthcare Training LLC shall not be held liable for any outcomes or consequences, including non-employment, arising from the student's engagement with our partner for placement assistance. Students are advised to actively participate in the job search process, utilize all available resources, and exercise their own judgment when pursuing employment opportunities. Healthcare Training, LLC may be paid a referral fee for referring potential pharmacy candidates.

Healthcare Training LLC and Camino Compass Consulting

 

Healthcare Training LLC ("Healthcare Training") is partnering with Camino Compass Consulting ("Camino Compass") to offer a pharmacy compliance and pharmacy operations consulting service. Camino Compass is an independent provider of pharmacy compliance and pharmacy operations consulting services. Healthcare Training is not responsible for any actions or advice provided by Camino Compass.

The pharmacy compliance and pharmacy operations consulting services are provided "as is" and without any express or implied warranties. Camino Compass shall not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of their services.

Terms of Service

By participating in and/or utilizing the pharmacy compliance and pharmacy operations consulting services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Qualifications and Experience

Camino Compass is led by Jocelyn F., a licensed pharmacist with experience in pharmacy compliance and pharmacy operations.

Indemnification

Camino Compass agrees to indemnify and hold Healthcare Training harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from their services.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Healthcare Training or Camino Compass be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or in any way related to the pharmacy compliance and pharmacy operations consulting services, even if Healthcare Training or Camino Compass has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.

Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Healthcare Training and Camino Compass with respect to the pharmacy compliance and pharmacy operations consulting services. Any prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether written or oral, are superseded by these terms and conditions.

Modifications

Healthcare Training and Camino Compass reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on Healthcare Training's website.

Acceptance

By participating in the sterile compounding certification program or utilizing the pharmacy compliance and pharmacy operations consulting services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
