Experiential Virtual Hybrid IV Certification Program

Please note: Both the in person and virtual hybrid programs offer foundational training and basic hands on training and evaluation BUT the employer at the place of your employment must provide additional training as applicable to their facility and include other training as deemed necessary by the employer.

The virtual hybrid IV certification program is a blended learning program that includes both online and in-person components. The online component includes access to a learning portal, quizzes, and a practice exam. Additionally, the practice with the provided supplies and the final skills validation evaluation must be done in a sterile compounding facility.

The in-person and virtual components include skills validations with a certified and experienced instructor or supervisor. Access to the learning portal and certification program is provided by Healthcare Training, LLC and is meant for informational and educational purposes only.

Upon successfully completing the didactic portion, reviewing the required manual (if applicable), passing the skills validation evaluation, and passing a final certification exam with a score of 75% or better, and providing accurate information, a certificate of completion will be issued by the ACPE accredited entity and by Healthcare Training, LLC.

The additional courses and/or home infusion course you receive access to are provided by Healthcare Training, LLC and are for informational purposes only.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will receive the manual or training supplies (both sent by third party vendors) in the timeframe you desire and/or be able to complete the entire course within a certain frame. The certification courses are self-paced and the responsibility lies with each participant to complete the course within a year of enrolling or sooner otherwise a fee of $49/month will be assessed for each month beyond the expiration date if access to the course is still required by the enrollee.

It may take anywhere from 2-6 months or longer to complete the entire certification program.

In-person certification program

The in-person evaluation is conducted by an instructor authorized by Healthcare Training, LLC to conduct the final evaluation or by your facility supervisor that is also certified in sterile compounding. Upon successfully completing the didactic portion, reviewing the required manual, passing the in-person skills validation evaluation, and passing a final certification exam with a score of 75% or better, and providing accurate information, a certificate of completion will be issued by an ACPE accredited entity and Healthcare Training, LLC. Access to the learning portal and certification program is provided by Healthcare Training, LLC and is meant for informational and educational purposes only.
